Thank you Alpha and Beta Readers, ARC Reviewers

Thank you for signing up!
It’s great to have you joining me on my journey.

A quick reminder of the difference between
Alpha/Beta readers and ARC reviewers

Alpha Readers are the first readers of my stories. The story is in its rawest form. The book is a rough manuscript idea.

  • Provides help during the developmental stages, comments on the pieces that don’t make sense (or are confusing), point out inconsistencies and gives me feedback on plot holes.

Beta Readers are (non-professional) readers who receive a pre-edited (NOT the first draft) revision copy of the book. Ideally, Beta readers are my target audience and read many books in this fantasy genre.

  • Provides helpful insight on how to improve the essential elements of the story: characters, setting, and plot (points out plot holes and continuity issues)
  • Provides suggestions for spelling, grammar, and fact-checking

Arc Reviewers are also referred to as early reviewers.

  • ARC readers are given a free copy of my book in exchange for leaving an honest book review (typically on Amazon and/or Goodreads) once the book is available for distribution.
